Oh, they're completely awful. More amused with themselves than anything else and I can't say for certain what their goals are, but they're definitely hiding something. Whenever they talk, it's like three different meanings coming out of their mouths at once. I try not to interact with them if I can help it.

It does not surprise me that they would be hiding something, although I had hoped it would be information that would ultimately benefit us. I suppose I will have to speak with them myself to fully understand what you mean.
[There's the tiniest hint of a smile as she says that, even though she's trying to remain serious. She's used to obstructive bureaucrats; speaking to one again might even make her feel comfortable and at home.
This hallway, though, is not making her comfortable at all. Does it end? Is it looping?]
Pardon me, but would you mind if we stopped for a moment? We've been walking for some time, yet I can see no trace of an end to this hallway.
[ there's a nod, hawke silently wishing miyako luck in interacting with ceres. hawke's still pretty determined not to deal with them, having had enough stress the times that she has. this is not her city, after all so there's no need for her involvement.

[She smiles grimly. She's never been one to back down from a challenge, but this is more tedious than she would have liked.]
If it is a puzzle, it is a very well hidden one. There are virtually no distinguishing features in this hallway, which makes me believe that we have either missed something obvious, or whoever it was that designed this place is more sadistic than we've been led to believe.
[ hawke gives a firm shake of her head at the end of miyako's sentence. no, that's wrong. ]
Never underestimated CERES' penchant for sadism! It's usually framed like a joke yet we always happen to be the butt of it. For example, [ hawke gestures to their clones and as if on cue, her own accuses her of murder. she sneers a little. ] Oh, shut it.

We could try breaking through one of the walls. Though I don't have my sword with me today so I'm not sure how much actually help I could be.
Normally, I would attempt to summon a demon to assist me, but I am uncertain how that would go in a place such as this. I do have something else I could try, but again, I do not know if such things are possible.
[She stares meaningfully at a wall, ignoring her clone as it whispers something about her sacrificing all of her friends.]

[ summoning... a demon... wow, way to make every single alarm bell go off in hawke's mind! she's dealt with this a few times already though so while she has to take a steadying breath first, she doesn't immediately start berating miyako for messing with demons. no, maybe it's a different type of summoning again. maybe the demons are friendly.

[Even with her back to Hawke, Miyako notices the pause and the intake of breath. Interesting. Hawke's reaction has been noted and filed away for later consideration, but first, Dragon Stream.
Miyako closes her eyes and concentrates, trying to reach out to the leylines of her world—Well, that failed. Of course it would fail. Her world is gone, and all that remains of the Dragon Stream is what power she has stored within her. Enough for a few decisive blows, but after that? She's become so reliant on its power that not having access to it is disorienting.
Outwardly, it would look as if Miyako were glowing gold for a brief moment, power visibly palpitating outward. And then, without warning, it cuts off, and the glow dims. Miyako herself looks visibly perturbed, and there is no response for a few seconds.]
